Mission and Goals

MISSION

To recruit, retain, and advance women students, faculty, and staff in all Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) endeavors.

GOALS

To raise the awareness, provide career information, and encouragement to pre-college students in the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields.
To increase the pool of qualified women in the STEM fields by recruiting, supporting and retaining them as students at the School of Mines.
To provide women undergraduates, graduates, and faculty with resources and services that will enable their success in academic and professional pursuits.
To offer support to students, staff, and faculty that focus on women’s issues and skill building.
